At the intellectual level we all realize that learning is the ultimate
competitive advantage and yet when you analyze the recent
challenges faced by senior executives at venerable organizations,
it becomes obvious that they are not merely failures of
leadership but also of learning. And when you closely observe
both individual and collective behavior within organizations, the
